On May 11 me and my husband decided to go to the mall to buy some baby things. While we were there we were trying to imagine how contractions and labor were going to be. Whenever we were walking I kept cramping on and off but didn’t pay attention since we were having a good time. We head home around 8pm and when I go to the bathroom I noticed I had my bloody show I call my husband and say baby will be here soon I was exactly 38 weeks pregnant and 2cm dilated since I was 35 weeks. We decided to go to bed since we had a long day and I wake up around 10pm with some cramps I decided to take a warm bath and go to bed. Around 11pm I noticed that they were contractions so i decided to time them. Around 1am they got more painful but nothing I couldn’t handle. Around 3am I tell my husband okay I think it’s time we drove to the hospital and when they checked me they said I was at 4cm. They asked if I wanted the epidural and I said tha I would hold off a bit and see how bad the contraction got. She came back 20 min later and checked me again and I was at 8cm and my contractions were horrible at this point so I ask for the epidural and I get it around 6am (good thing I didn’t dilate all the way for waiting over an hour)thy have me start pushing around 9am and by 3 pushes baby was ready to go but they have me wait because doctor had an emergency c-section. Long story short i had to wait for 4 hours for my doctor and had my little one at 1:12pm.. he weighted 7lbs 11oz and 19inches long
