Viral infection with only a fever?
Has anyone else's kids ever gotten a viral infection with only a fever? Our daughter has been running a fever (100.8-102.2) since Saturday. It goes away with Motrin. We decided to take her to see her doctor today to make sure it wasn't a ear infection or a uti since she isn't having any other symptoms at all. No cough or sore throat, no runny or stuffy nose, belly doesn't feel off or hurt. Just the fever. Her Doctor said it's probably just a viral infection. Urine and ears were good, lungs are clear.

My daughter just came down with what was diagnosed as a viral infection. Low grade fever, runny nose, cough and a rash. Poor honey. I think it’s affecting me more than her!! Hope your little one feels better soon

She's all better now. She literally only had a fever 2 days. No runny nose, sore throat or cough. It was a mystery.
