Two retrievals, same cycle???

On my day 10 check, I had 4 follicles but one grew faster than the rest. It was at 18mm. I am scheduled for egg retrieval only for the one egg.

Now I have 3 smaller ones (11mm, 10mm, 9mm) from my Day 10 check. This was from only 7 days of stims. My doctor wants to check them again on Day 14 to see if any have grown naturally as I am now off stims. If they do grow, I will have another egg retrieval scheduled on this cycle.

1) Can my small follicles catch up? It will be 4 days until the next check. But this time, no stims.

2) Are two retrievals even possible??

I was given Pregnyl and Decapeptyl two days before egg retrieval. Wont that trigger all the follicles?

I am just so confused. I hope someone can help.
