So my father in law who lives with us has recently started smoking pot and he does it with our kids at home...I am getting pissed about it. It stenches up my entire house and I HATE it!! I have told him he needs to do it outside but he is NOT listening. How on earth do I handle this?? I am getting furious!!!

Personally.. I dont think anything should be smoked in the house. It ruins walls, clothes and furniture. I would vouche for weed more than ciggs all day. But.. if something was to ever happen. And your kids were seriously that close enough to to breath alot of the smoke from a blunt.. and they tested positive for marijuana. That would put everyone in a whole nother situation! I highly doubt that would ever happen but im thinking worse case scenario. They dont need to see or be familiar with that smell. Like.. what if lil Suzy comes to school and had that smell of weed. And the teachers notice it too. And your kids like.. I know that smell! They smoke it all the time at my house! Like.. not good

I’m pro weed. But I refuse to do it around children. I’m not giving anybody second hand smoke for my bad habit. It’s selfish. And I would never allow it around my child.

I'm a smoker and I take myself outside so does hubby. Our daughter doesn't smoke. She is 8 weeks old. It's for her health. I even quit my entire pregnancy. Smh. Kids don't need it in their faces. Even though I use it medicinally I didn't during pregnancy and still go out now.

That’s child endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child... just the same you can’t smoke with kids in the car, It’s illegal where I live. Threaten to call the cops on him or kick him out. Kids can develop asthma etc. If he chooses that lifestyle he can do it elsewhere but he’s not harming my kids is what I would tell him

Have your husband handle it. He needs to smoke outside or sleep outside. Once your kids start going places and smell like it people will be looking at you not him. I don't allow 1st , 2nd or 3rd hand smoke around mine.
