Over feeding??

Question

My son is 5 weeks old and drinks 3 oz of breast milk every 2-2.5 hours. 
Sometimes it will be 3.5 or 4 oz if he’s fussy and still hungry but it makes me anxious that I’m over feeding him :( 
He rarely ever spits up but I still worry.
He’s a BIG boy. He weighs over 12 lbs and is 23 inches long. 
Anyone with a similar sized 5 week old baby?? Haha how much milk do they drink at time?

It’s not too much unless they throw up or spit up a good amount  :)

This is my 8 week old daughter to a T. My pediatrician says to feed her when she is hungry and its not too much unless baby throws up or spits up more then usual baby spit up.

My 12 day old daughter weighed in at 8 lbs 3 oz at 4 days old (born 7 lbs 15.6 oz) and she eats 2 to 3 ounces every 2 or 3 hours. Occasionally she will eat 2 oz every hour for 3 hours in a row between 7pm and 9pm. Her doctor said that was a normal amount for her age but then went on to say that she was gaining weight too quickly so she *must* be over eating. I think every baby is different and even doctors are really just guessing because of that fact so if baby is eating it just fine without excessive spit up then you aren't overfeeding!

My doctor said to feed them as much as they want unless they’re spitting up a lot. I thought I was feeding my baby too much but turns out he dropped in the growth charts. I got scolded by our pediatrician ...
After that I just gave him as much as he wanted and that was often around 45 oz a day and he’s still only in the 30% for height and weight at 7 months.

My son is 5 days old his birth weight was 8lb 2oz today he got weighed and he's now 7lb 11oz and he takes 2oz every 2 hours :)

Sounds normal to me. Our boy is 3 weeks and weighs 9.1 lbs. He was 8.2 at birth. He eats about 4 oz every 4 hours.
