Real Identity

I am black , my husband is white. We have 2 handsome boys. I have issue with people calling them black(i dont have issue with being black so save your psyc comments) but my question is would you guys agree with me that i would rather them labeled as mixed. i feel like calling them black just forsake their real identity. My son is 2 and i tried to make him understand that he is both. And he knows mommy brown and daddy white. I feel like there is so much hate going on and mixed kids go through so many identity issues due to how people perceived them. I just want to make sure my kids now where they came from and fully armed for all this BS going on in this world.
