So background I had my son almost 2.5 years ago. We started trying again for baby no. 2 in January 2018. Previously I was on birth control which I stopped taking the end of December 2017. I haven’t had a period since May 2018. Went to Obgyn in June and they found 1 cyst on my left ovary. I was in such shock because I never “knowingly” had one before. They told me cysts are common with people my age (24) and that it would most likely go away on my own. And that i could still get pregnant because it looked like I was in my fertile window.

Fast forward to two weeks ago (August 14th). Still no period so I made an appointment with doctor. Took blood work and got the results back in a week. They said everything was normal except my testosterone level. Which was extremely high. Now they want me to see an endocrinologist for further testing. I am extremely anxious.

My questions are:

Is this what others experience with PCOS?

Has anyone ever had something like this happen to them?

If so how long did it take you trying to conceive?
