Prenatal gummies?

Can you take these before you get pregnant to try and help? I know you are suppose to take them when you are but I’m just curious.

Prenatal vitamins should ideally be started at least 3 months before becoming pregnant. So you should definitely start them now. Any type are good as long as you get one with a min of 800 mcg of folic acid a day and iron. Prenatals prepare you body for pregnancy and are proven to decrease the risk of neural tube defects by over80% in the embryo which occurs within the first few weeks of pregnancy, usually before you even know you’re pregnant. They will not however help you get pregnant , they do not increase fertility.

Start taking Prenatals when you start ttc. They won’t help you to get pregnant, but they will help your body by giving you the extra vitamins you need when you are pregnant
