It's finally my turn to share my birth story!! I had 3 due dates originally 8/20, 8/23, & 8/25, it was my OB's 1st year so whatever I knew she would be here earlier, but oh well.... So 8/15 I was dilated to a 2.5CM & 90 Percent thin..I asked my OB for a membrane sweep, well she said NO....... whatever. 8/18 7AM, my mom had picked me up so we can go for breakfast & hit up target, my husband was asleep he had just gotten off work... We go to hometown buffet, then to three different targets because I wanted a specific bath tub that niether one had well we ended up heading to grandma's it's abt 3PM my mom decides she's gonna go get her nails done, I tell her dnt go, i might go into labor while you're gone jokingly... 4:20PM contractions start coming hard & constant no break in between I call my mom & tell her it's time she wasnt done, so I had to call my aunt & grandma, (husband is a heavy sleeper I called 3 times) we get to the hospital at 5:37PM I'm at 5CM, by 7PM I'm stuck at a 7 for awhile so they start pitocin I was getting cintractions but not feeling a thing, my husband was woken up by my brother.. He met up w my mom & me at the hospital. They swept my mebrane around 12AM I'm at a 9 by then by 4AM they finally break my water & had to monitor me & baby internally because they couldnt pick up my contractions or they couldn't pick up baby's heart beat. That hurt like a bitch. My mother in law shows up.... great. Now its 6AM still stuck at 9 still not feeling contractions too bad, but I ended up getting epidural cause baby's heart was dropping, I started feeling my baby go dwn around 12 PM so they decide to let me lqbor dwn until I really felt like I needed to poop & it was intense it's abt 2PM I started feeling it stronger I pushed her out w in 15 pushes (48 mins exactly) keep in mind my epidural wore off by then, so I felt EVERYTHING & yes i was offered to up my dosage before & I declined I wanted to feel it all! No tears at all my vagina is completely still intact!! Thankfully!! It was not bad at all besides her head coming out it stung a bit. the umbilical cord was wrapped around her face & neck she was purple! But as soon as they laid her on me she let out a big cry & fell right to sleep on my chest 8/19/18 @ 3:13PM my princess Alina was born weighing 7lbs 11oz & 20 1/2in long! Now just over a week old, & being a ftm my husband & I are head over heels in love w her! & loving our little family!

Words of advice LABOR DOWN!!!!!!!!!! Lol. Now here's my princess & husband & a little of me 👨‍👩‍👧
