We got back from my 7-week checkup after birth and had baby girl with me. The first thing midwife says is.. holy cow that’s a big baby!! How much did she weigh at birth?!? ...she was 7 lbs 13 oz at birth. She is now, at 7 weeks old, 10 lb 8 oz, which isn’t that huge! At least I don’t think.

She is kinda long, but haven’t had her length measured since two-week appt. she was born 20 in long. I’m sure she’s obviously much longer now.

I don’t like it when people say that about her. Maybe I’m taking it wrong. Is she that big for 7 weeks? If it matters, I am petite and 5’3”. Her dad is 6’3” and big boned!!
