Is it bad to live with in-laws?

Have you lived with you in-laws.... and what was your experience? I noticed a lot of Latino families live with each other so I wonder how they get along.

Because is Latinos it’s all about family it’s common it’s natural to fight but 5 mins its back to being buddy buddy .. we don’t even have a problem when it comes to showing up uninvited along with just opening doors

Multigenerational households are not a new thing. They’ve existed for centuries for people regardless of cultural heritage. 
They are perfectly healthy as long as everyone functions as adults with clearly defined and mutually respected boundaries.

I was put on migraine medication  within a week🤷🏼‍♀️ i lasted 2 months, because I was waiting  till my house was available.

We live with my fiancé’s parents for now because we’re saving for a house. I like how there’s extra help with our daughter. I just wish we had the privacy of our own home because my anxiety makes me not want to go downstairs during the day

We stayed with my in-laws visiting my husbands country for a month... it was nice but i thi k a month is about all i wanna take..

It was awful. We lived with my in-laws for 5 months, they invited me to live with them and promptly went through a bad, bad divorce where my MIL blamed me for the break-up like I slept with her husband and she threatened suicide and she kicked us out of the house in the middle of the night when we told her we signed a lease at an apartment. On top of that my BIL and his gf we’re living there too and he and my FIL got in physical fights. I ended up staying at my shit job as much as I could, I’d go in hours before my shift started and stay hours late just to avoid going back to that house. I will say they made me appreciate my own dysfunctional family so much more.

MILWe had to live with my in laws for about a month back in February when we bought our first house. Our lease was up, but our home sellers had a delay in their new home’s closing because they bought it as an estate sale, so we were between homes. They have a big quad level with a bedroom on the lower level, so there was plenty of room for all of us. His parents are quiet and non-conflicting; My MIL is quiet natured like both me and husband, and my FIL is a lot like my late dad. My MIL liked having me around to help her, especially with her bad knees. I liked living with them.
