Choroid plexus cyst on Anatomy Scan?

My Dr reviewed my anatomy ultrasound results with me today & said they found a Choroid Plexus (brain) Cyst but reassured me that they usually go away within a couple weeks and I have another ultrasound on the 7th of September to get it looked at again. She said they’re very common in boys but my other 2 sons didn’t have this, I know she reassured me that all is fine & everything else in the ultrasound looked good but I’m still nervous 😞 anyone else get told their lil one has this & it went away? 💕 thanks ladies

This happened to me last pregnancy and they told me not to worry and that it would probably go away... well it did go away and I wish so much I hadn’t worried!! I worried so much and it cleared up a few weeks later. They are so common and they normally do clear up! Don’t worry seriously❤️

It’s only something to worry about if it’s accompanied by other soft markers, but on its own it’s nothing to worry about. My baby boy had bilateral choroid plexus cysts (one on either side) and after hours of googling and reading studies I felt better (how often does that happen eh? )

My daughter had 2 and they both went away. My niece had one and it went away. I think like 80% of the time they go away.

We have a totally different thing going on. But when I first got my ultrasound and they told me they thought they saw a cyst in babies abdomen I was horrified. I spent hours googling. And the most common thing I found on Google was this brain cyst thing you are talking about. And almost all of the stories are overwhelmingly positive. And it must be extra common occurrence. I wouldn't worry unless your doctors tell you to worry! 💙
