Has anyone had or currently has a low lying placenta ? how did it pan out ? (FTM)

You need a third option! I had a low lying placenta with my first and it moved right out of the way, so no problem at all come D-day.

Mine is completely covering cervix. Found at 18 weeks had a ultrasound at 23 weeks to check and is still covered so now I have to see high risk doctor/ultrasound. Really hoping it moves but the reality of a complete Previa is less likely. I Still have hope and stopped googling hahaha

Me! My placenta at 20 weeks was covering part of my cervix. I have an ultrasound scheduled Sept. 11th to see if it has moved up. I'll be 26 weeks and 5 days at that appointment. 🤞🤞🤞

Mine was covering my cirvix and had moved 2.5 cm away from my cirvix at my 20week ultrasound. I will be 24weeks this Saturday

Mine is low and covering the birth canal, so they’ve booked me in for a 32 week scan. My midwife told me not to worry as 90% of them move and I’m not in the high risk category for it not to move.
My SIL has the same and hers moved in time.
My midwife said it only needs to move 3cm clear of the cervix. Doesn’t sound like too much to move!

Me, placenta is covering my cervix so got another scan at 32 weeks (Oct) to see if it has moved

Mine was low lying at 18w and by 20w it moved 3cm and is now normal

Mine covered my cervix and moved just enough by 28 weeks.
