Sore throat after Flu Shot !?

So I got the Glucose Test done yesterday.. along with the Flu shot .. ever since then my Throat has Been Soo sore !! Along with my body aching pain!!! Is the sore throat Normal after getting a Shot !?

The flu shot does not and cannot cause the flu. Pregnant women are at significantly higher risk of severe complications and death from influenza. On top of that, we are November moms and our babies will be so tiny during flu season. Be smart, and get your flu shots mamas!

Why I personally never get the flu shot. Last time I did I ended up in the hospital.

The flu shot doesn’t prevent the flu! It significantly decreases the negative outcomes associated with getting the flu - hospitalization, disability, death, etc. It’s purpose is to make the flu less severe if you do get it. 
The sore throat is most likely due to drinking the glucose drink as the microbes in your mouth feed off sugar, or you are fighting an upper respiratory virus

I'm surprised  they are offering flu shots so early I was told by end of September  or October? I just got my tdap and rhogam  shot

My doctor said you can't get the flu from the shot but some of the side effects mimic a slight virus.  I get it every year but last time I was pregnant I caught the worst cold the next day!  But usually I'm just a little achy and sore and it goes away fast!  Feel better!
