Cold medicine will TTC

I am only 3 DPO and am dying from a cold/allergies going on 5 days now with a very bad cough. I’ve been suffering through it but the constant coughing is getting exhausting and my husband and I cannot sleep. Does anyone know if cold meds are safe while TTC? Thank you in advance!!
