Has anyone ever had a normal/heavy period whilst pregnant? Not sure how common it is and need advice.

It is scientifically, biologically impossible to have a period while pregnant.
A period is the uterus shedding its lining, which would cause termination of the pregnancy. 
If you're having heavy bleeding or cramping during pregnancy and you keep the baby, you either have a hemorrhage or a threatened miscarriage and are very lucky to keep the baby. 
Bleeding during pregnancy is NEVER NORMAL and you should immediately go to the ER.
It is SCIENCE. You can't have a period while pregnant.

You can’t have a period when pregnant because to have a period you have to release an egg and if you’re pregnant your body won’t release an egg. You can however bleed during pregnancy and that can be quite common.

You can’t get a period, but some people experience some bleeding around the time they expect their period but it’s very rare. It happened to my grandma when she was pregnant with her 4th and final child. She wasn’t showing, she didn’t have any symptoms, and she thought her periods got lighter because she was older, but the bleeding was actually something else. She didn’t know she was pregnant until 7 months pregnant during her yearly physical!

I didn’t, but a friend of mine had a normal period every month for the first 6 months of her pregnancy. She didn’t even know she was pregnant until she went to Dr. Baby was born healthy and happy, but a little early.
