My 4 year old has been refusing to clean up any of her toys. It’s a battle. She’ll make a mess, and refuse to clean it up. Then tel me to do it and that I made the mess. Half the time it feels like I’m dealing with a hormonal teenager already. I’ve been trying since 9am. Tv and tablet has been taken away, I tried time out, I’ve tried talking to her. I’ve tried everything. She’s got spanked and put in her room, not allowed to come out until it’s clean. Well she took a trash bag, put all the toys in there and said to throw it out. So that’s what I’m going to do, sort of..I’m going to put the bag in our basement. My husband is telling me to be a parent and make her clean it up. He doesn’t have to deal with it. I’m at my wits end.
