Circumvallate Placenta
So, I went to the perinatal specialist today and was told I have a circumvallate placenta and a cyst on the placenta as well. This appears to generally result in a healthy birth, but can lead to placental abruption, low amniotic fluid, or baby not receiving enough nutrition. Right now he is doing great though! I am 27 weeks and he is measuring at 3 pounds already and looks healthy as a horse 😃 does anybody else have any experience with this???
