What to expect from first prenatal visit

Hello everyone. I just got my bfp this morning at 11 DPO. I do blood work today to check my levels because I had a miscarriage in December. I don't get those results until tomorrow. I pray this is a sticky Bean this time. I was just wondering what to expect from my first prenatal appointment? I will be 6 weeks along by that time.

For my very first one all they did was confirm pregnancy and then i just talked to a lady about a few things and then scheduled an ultra sound for around 8 weeks.

1st prenatal apt is basically blood, urine, ultrasound, paperwork and lots of questions 😊 ! Congrats and happy healthy 9mnt wishes

Awhhh congrats!!! I scheduled mine for 7-8 weeks and they usually do an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy and check size etc and then you’ll also see the doc and probably get a pap and a normal exam. I am not sure how they handle it after a miscarriage but that is what I did the first time around. Every office is different too. Just try to keep positive, relaxed, and happy! 😃👍🏼
