Anyone else taking a baby cpr/choking class?

I’ve taken cpr classes before, but not specially for an infant. And I definitely want my husband to be informed in case anything was to happen. We’re going to a class at a hospital for only $10 a person! 
~Just thought I’d spread some awareness~

I took a prenatal class and they taught it there and then for our hospital at least they have you watch a video before you go home

Yes I paid for a two hour course on it. Definitely something I want to recap before baby comes though

My hospital makes you take the class before you can leave the hospital with your baby

My husband and I both work in healthcare and already have it as a requirement of our job. It definitely makes me feel better knowing we both have had the class multiple times.

its a great idea. I used my skills when my son was 8 months old. he had choked on a piece of plastic wrapper from a ream of paper for the computer. it wasn't coming out, I finally was able to flush it out of his throat after I cut the tip off a bottle nipple and squeezed water into his throat. but had it been more solid I was confident in my technique because of the class.

I already had it because I was a teacher. I did make my husband watch a few videos on it though.
