Started having contractions at 3:45 am. Didn’t wake my husband. They were getting stronger but I was sitting down and they would dissipate when I walked. Figured it was false labor and went to sleep for an hour about 5:45 am. Still had contractions during that hour. When I woke up and got my son up the contractions started to get worse. When I broke down into tears I decided to just got to the hospital. Well we left the house about 8:10 am and I said let’s go to the doctors office and get checked. They took me right away and I was at 4 cm. They did a direct admit and I got to skip triage. We got to the hospital about 9:30 am and baby girl arrives at 3:05 pm. Broke my water at 5 cm and things progressed smoothly especially after my epidural.
