I now understand why some of us moms post our birth stories days even weeks later. You become to overjoyed with the arrival of your new bundle of joy.

But here you go ladies. Here's to my birth story.....

I was scheduled for induction on Friday 8/31. From Monday afternoon to that night of 8/27 I kept feeling what I thought were maybe just bad cramps more of a stomachache... They were like 30 min. to an hour apart then they would subside for awhile then start again. I would get them on and off through the night but I still Managed to get some shut eye... The next morning around 5a.m. as soon as I woke up to drop my fiance off at work I got my first real contraction not to painful but enough to make me think like dang that thing really hurt lol... After I got in the car maybe 10 minutes later I felt another one... I told my fiance to still go to work and I would let him know if he needed to come back home. Didn't want him to miss a day for a false alarm being that I've been having prodromal labor for the last wk and a half. Anyways I was finally able to drop him off and head back home still having contractions every 10-15 min. After i got home I tried to lay back down but every time I would get a contraction I had to sit up cause they were painful. So I just walked round the house, making last min adjustments and basically fighting through the pain. By 7 am the contractions became way more painful lasting longer but they were still 10 min. apart.. So i called my fiance and told him I needed him to be home with me cause i was in so much pain. I had my last dr. appt scheduled for that same day at 1 pm but i called them at 8 to see if i could just come in right then just to be checked and they said yes.. As soon as we walked into the dr's office they called us to the back by that time I was in tears so my dr. didn't even she checked me she sent us straight to labor and delivery and met us there mind u my contractions were still maybe 8-10 min. apart.. After arriving to the hospital around 9 a.m they checked me and i was at 6 cm 90% effaced... Got admitted , iv hooked up and she break my water checked again around 10 am i was 8-9 cm... I was still only feeling contractions every 8- 10 minutes. They looked at me and said girl you the real mvp telling me that i was handling labor a lil to well.. Well at 10:40 I was still at a 8-9 cm but she allowed me to start pushing and that's when my contractions became on top of one another.. I pushed From 10:30 until my Prince entered the world at 10:53..

Got to the hospital at 9am and delivered all natural no Epidural at 10:53 am.
