Paragard Copper IUD

Hi, I got the non-hormonal IUD inserted on August 23, which was the 4th day of my period. My periods usually start getting light on the 4th day and end on the 7th day. But since insertion, I am still having spotting. Although, this morning the spotting was heavier than it has been in the past few days. I was wondering how long the spotting is going to last. I appreciate any answers!
