Water breaking?

Question

I was having contractions sitting on my exercise ball and when I stood up I felt pretty wet like I had to change my underwear and shorts but the exercise ball was dry. There isnt anything gushing. I dont want to drive a hour to LD for nothing.

FTM here and still pregnant. I recently went to a birthing class at my hospital. The nurse teaching the class said it could even be a small leak it’s not always a big gush of fluid. I’d call and ask. She also stressed the importance of going in if your water breaks early so that they can stop labor and decrease the risk of infection (if you’re preterm).

I hope you went to LD your water could have been leaking and that’s not safe for you or baby. I had this with 2 of my 5 kids
