Too early to test?

So I am currently 4 days late starting my period, I’m just wondering is it too early to test or should I go ahead test? And if so which is best for early detection, with my first pregnancy I had used first response but I was already 8 weeks!

Hey, currently in the same situation, too nervous to test because I've been late before and as I'm about to take the test, AF arrived :/ is 5 days late about right? Would love to hear the results, fingers crossed :)
