6w1d heartbeat?

Question

Hi all- went in today for cramping, thinking i was 5w6d. Doc found gestational sac right away and said "wow it looks great!". Measured the baby at 6w1d and we all thought we could see a little flicker of a heartbeat but couldnt hear it. Any one else still waiting to hear it at 6w1d??

Ive read in several articles that it drops below 4% once you can hear an appropriate heart beat :) especially around 8 weeks

I’m 6weeks 3days today but my internal US was on 5weeks 4days saw my beautiful bean and heard the heart as well. My hospital is kinda expensive so they’d better have good equipment 😅 this is our rainbow baby my husband had tears in his eyes when he heard it.
Don’t worry about it some say it’s normal not to hear it at this point yet

I had my ultrasound at 6 weeks 1 day and saw the flicker but didn’t try listening - hopefully next time!

I was 6 weeks 1 day on Wednesday when I had my first appointment and we couldn't hear the heartbeat but we did see the flicker. She didn't seem concerned about it and I'll be going back in two weeks to check again.

My doctor doesn’t do the Doppler to hear the heart beat until 14 weeks. She said as long as you see the flicker and she’s able to measure it, everything is great.
