Nuchal translucency scan 😭😭

Today was the day we saw our bubba wriggle around, very energetic bubs. 11weeks 2 days my heart felt with warmth when I saw the tiny legs and hands waving around... I can’t believe it I’m actually growing a baby 😍😍😍😍

Couldn’t get a good look so we had to do an internal.

The lady sits us down and tells us we’re high risk of Down syndrome 😭😭 my heart broke but I kept myself together she was telling us what to do next (which is getting further tests to fully confirm) I walk out the room to my mum and my partners mum and I instantly break down 😭

She immediately sent the results to my gp

I book the next appointment which was an hour after the ultrasound.

As soon as I walk in the rush me into the room my doctor receives another call from a doctor regarding me and bubs I’m freaking out.

I have a referral to get a CVS (Chorionic Villus Sampling) I’m trying so hard to stay positive I really want this bubba after seeing all the wriggling, waving and rolling.😭💔💔

Has anyone else had a CVS done if so please share your experience.
