My beautiful girl came into the world at 9:44am via scheduled c section. I was surprisingly peaceful leading up to the surgery. When they wheeled me to the OR and opened the doors I started crying. I was so overcome through out with emotion. It was the most incredible, scary, amazing, indescribable feeling meeting my baby for the first time.

I heard a lot of horror stories about c sections but honestly ladies, it's not nearly as bad as I thought. I've been off of the heavy pain meds since day 2 when they removed my IV and by my request only had me regularly taking tylenol and motrin. Outpatient I have a higher dose of ibuprofen as needed. Don't let the horror stories scare you.
