Question: I am pregnant for the first time 6 weeks going on 7, and utterly unaware of what’s normal and what’s not... I went to bed last night around 11pm and woke up today around 2am to pee only to discover that there was bright red blood when I wiped. I put a liner on my undies and went back to sleep, and at 6am checked down there and all I had was a small brown smudge (I have been having on and off light brown discharge for 2 weeks now). Is the red blood normal (only bled for less then a couple of hours) or should I call my doc ASAP?
