Customer service is closed for the weekend, so I was hoping maybe someone on here had seen this before. Yesterday I was tightening the straps on this carseat and the mechanism that holds the tightening thingy popped out of place. (Its the silver thing with the holes in the picture. It normally would be under plastic hooks.) It doesn't come out, it just moves more. It wasn't screwed in, just held by pressure again, but the plastic is too rigid for me to get it back in place. Is it still safe to use? Would this be covered by warranty? Can it be fixed safely?
