Second delivery will go faster they say... 😫

So • Hi, I'm 33 years hubby and I been together 12 years....married for 4 years.. miscarried 9/14-😇Isabella🌈 born 3/23/16-miscarried twins 4/17- baby #2 due 9/3 🌈

Here to share the birth story of my second daughter.. Olivia😍. Olivia is my fourth pregnancy.. but my second living child. The pregnancy went well up until my 18th week when I started suffering from SPD but at 18 weeks along it was horrible! It was difficult to do simple things like walk, getting into and out of bed/car.. so I suffered for over 20 weeks of this.. then at 32 weeks I went into pre-term labor. Thank goodness they were able to stop it when I got to 2cm dilated.. but the contractions never went away.. so for over a month I dealt with mild contractions on and off 5-10 mins apart never progressing 2 trips to the doctor office with false labor to be sent home.. finally at my 39th week appointment I new something was happening at 12pm contractions were 10 mins a part.. and stronger than what I have been feeling.. my appointment was at 2:45. I called my husband to let him know today might be the day.. I get to the doctor office and I’m at 4CM! Yes progress!! So doc sends me to maternity admissions to be monitored for an hour.. contraction getting stronger but no progressing effecting or dilation.. so doc said I can go home relax .. eat and get any last mins preparation done and come back when contractions are stronger.. so we went home.. ate and waited.. it was storming pretty bad that evening.. so at soon as contraction got stronger we dropped my first off to her nanny.. and headed back to M.A.. got there at midnight..we progressed to a 5/6 so the doc striped my membranes and said let’s get you admitted..we get brought into the room and waited.. 3 hours later I got to 6.. the doc said I have two choices go. Home or break your water.. baby head was still high so risk of a prolapsed cord was high.. so she asked me to bounce on the birthing ball for some time to see if it would help with contractions and bring baby down.. two hours later.. all it did was bring baby head down another cm. So we broke the water and all went well.. now to hope that contraction would pick up the pace and get strong.. another 3 hours pass and still at a 6😫... only option now was to kick start the process with pitocin.. and boy were contractions super intense!! By 11 am I felt the urge to poop so badly. I was telling my husband that I can’t be pooping with contractions going this strong. He said maybe it’s the baby.. he was right.. the doc and her team got in real fast and it was time to push.. 15 mins later.. Olivia finally made her arrival!!

From early labor to birth.. to delivery it was almost 24 hours... it was worth the pain... our pride and joy.. sorry for the long story.. but had to share.. each delivery is so special.. good luck to all the moms to be out there.. no, we can not plan the births, but the outcome is something so amazing!!
