Help?!

Question

Has anyone ever had brown spotting instead of a period? 
My period is now a week late and I’ve been having brown discharge for the past two days which I thought would be the start of my period but still nothing? 
Anyone had this happen to them? What does it mean??

It happened to me. I was really really hoping it was implantation bleeding...but I tested today, 6 days "late" and it was negative. So I'm just assuming it was a weird period. Fingers crossed for you though!
