Kegels – How it’s going so far!
So, I’ll admit it... before now, I never did kegels to “exercise” my vagina. I’m typing this post as a “non-kegeler” to those of you who are also “non-kegelers.” 😂 For those of you that hear the phrase “Make sure you’re doing your kegels.” and shrug it off, 🤷🏼♀️ I’m sure you’re curious about the benefits and importance of during pregnancy.
Well, here I am to tell you about my journey kegeling. I’m new to it. I just started about a week ago. Here’s what I’ve noticed already:
-My pelvic girdle pain has DRAMATICALLY decreased.
-I can stop myself from peeing a little during a sneeze.
-I am able to move around without pain a lot better.
The list is short for now, but I’m really encouraged to keep going because I’m already seeing such great results. I started focusing on my kegels because I plan on doing an unmedicated vaginal birth (for medical reasons) and in the book I’m reading there’s a whole chapter on how important they are. Because I really *need* to go all natural with it, I knew I had to do whatever I could to make it happen. I’ll post an update after I notice some new results from the experience! Hope this helps someone.
