Am I being precious or are they just trying to help?

Three people lately have asked me if my youngest son has ADHD. I'm really upset by this because he is acting up the week before school and will (probably) continue to do so for the first six weeks of term, as he has done every year since he started school, because he hates change. I am prepared for this.

The people that asked me are "new" (2yrs) to the family. I have spoken to my oldest friends whom I trust completely and they say that the question is out of line since they havent done the research in to my son.

I don't mean this post to disrespect in any way, but ADHD is a serious issue and should not be used to excuse bad behaviour. My son is behaving badly...he needs to behave better, because he can!!

Am I over reacting....opinions please xx
