thoughts on eyelash extensions ??

i want to get them but i’ve seen girls have eyelash hair loss afterwards.

I have had eyelash extensions before and I liked that I could just wake up and not have to put on any mascara. But they were a pain. It was fun for a few months, but I got annoyed with them after a while. You can’t rub your eyes ever. Taking eye makeup off is a pain. Over time, as your natural lashes fall out naturally, it takes your extensions with them, so your lashes can begin to look uneven. I never experienced a loss of my natural lashes. I’d say go for it. And if you don’t like it, just don’t get them refilled. You can also always go back and have them removed.

All of my friends who’ve got them lost most or all of their lashes after. So I’d never do it, plus it’s a lot of fuss as you can’t rub your eyes, you can’t get them wet for 48 hours or something like that, when you take your make up off you need to be really careful with them etc. Not worth it imo

If they are done properly and cared for properly, the only lashes that should fall out are the ones that naturally shed over time. Your lashes go through a cycle and fall out naturally and regrowth of new lashes happen. That makes it look like you are losing lashes, when in reality, your lashes are going through it’s natural process and the extensions go with it. You’re seeing something go from really full to your natural volume. 
When people don’t care for them the way they are supposed to — like rubbing their eyes or using mascara on the extensions, their natural lashes can be shed before they are supposed to. 
Just like with anything put on the face, hair or nails, people can have a dermatological  reaction — could develop an allergy to the products used.

Just did them for a month and a half. I experienced some eyelash hair loss which sucks (hoping it grows back). I did it because my mom gifted me it for my birthday but I stopped simply because I hated the upkeep. I didn't like sitting there in the first place. It takes three hours, give or take depending on your eyelashes, to get them the first time and then about an hour to two hours for a fill every 2 to 4 weeks. The whole time you have to lie there with your eyes closed and I only loved how the eyelashes look for the first week or so and then they looked more sparse until they were filled again. Not worth the money (even though it was free for me) or time in my opinion.

I want them too they are pretty expensive, Around 50-100 dollars...
