When will fear leave?

Every single time I use the bathroom, I have to look at the toilet paper to make sure I’m not bleeding. Will this fear every go away? I’m 17 weeks.

I am also 17 weeks and still do the same thing. I always seem to feel a bit of relief after seeing the midwife or having an ultrasound but it's only for a couple of days. 💜 I'm taking things day by day and my next goal is my 20 week scan. I find setting goals helps 💜

I’ll be 15 weeks tomorrow and am in the same boat!  We’ve had so much good news this time around, and the genetic testing came back that this baby doesn’t have chromosomal defect that caused us to lose our last, but still I’m constantly panicked.  There’s definitely a bit of PTSD, where I can’t see the midwife from my first pregnancy, or wear the same type of underwear I was wearing when I had my SCH, or just go into my doctors office.  My doctor this time is AMAZING, literally as soon as she walks in goes “I’m just going to start off with the Doppler then we can chat” since she just gets it, but it’s still hard.  
We’re waiting until 20 weeks to tell most people even though I’m pretty clearly starting to show, I’m not sure if it helps keeping it just our closest family and friends or not, but it’s been nice so far.
Sorry for the word vomit :-). All that is to say I have no clue when the fear leaves, but you are most certainly not alone.

I feel exactly the same it's even worse when I need the loo at night  for some reason and I can never get back to sleep again, I'm 16 weeks and I'm sure I'll worry until the day he or she is born (trying my best to be positive!) x

It seems like scans are so far apart. I would have thought that after 3 losses, I would get more scans than “normal”. There’s a place in my city called “Oh, Baby!” They do scans after 11 weeks for way cheaper than my regular doctor, even with insurance. We’ve been there once since my last ultrasound (around 11 weeks). We’ll go there again next week because my peace of mind is worth it. We did find out at Oh, Baby that we’re having a girl. 💗
