Whats So Bad About Eating Ice? 🤔

Everyone Keeps Telling Me To Stop Eating Ice All Day While Pregnant , Thats Its Not Good For Me And The Baby But No One Is Telling Me How Its Bad. I Even Googled How And Still No Answers. Im Aware That My Iron Is Low, Ive Had Anemia For Years Before I Got Pregnant. I Havent Seen Anyone Say It Lowers It, Just That Its A Sign.

I loved ice, had 2 healthy pregnancies, in fact ice is a good way to stay hydrated when drinking water isnt an option

It’s not great for your teeth because it’s so hard but it’s not bad for the baby. If you already know your iron is low, I can’t imagine what else they’d be talking about.

We had one guy come in every night at sonic, asking for a bag of ice cause his pregnant wife loved ice. We happened to not have a bag of ice but offered him two free cups of ice so his wife wouldnt kill him when he came home empty handed lol. He said sonic ice was her favorite.

I had ice for the whole 9 months in both my pregnancies! But not just any ice, home frozen ice cubes and ice from subway. I’d go to subway every day just to get ice and the guys would just finish it for free 🤣😂

The only way I could see that being bad is because ice is typically made with tap water. If it's high mineralised water it may not be the best for you all the time. Most tap water is typically fine though.

I’d say it’s probably not the ice itself but maybe if your chewing it and grinding it with your teeth
