Do you let your partner finish inside you?

I have Skyla and I’ve had it for about 10 months. A few days ago when my bf and I had sex he ejaculated inside of me. Previously I had been pretty adamant about him pulling out but this time I didn’t care lol. I know IUDs are supposed to pretty effective but I still get a little paranoid about pregnancy. What are your experiences? Is it reasonably safe?

I have Mirena and use no other form of backup or pullout. It's over 99% effective. It pretty much only happens if the IUD comes out of place. Just check it every month and make sure the strings are there and you don't feel the IUD coming out

Me and my SO always do the pull out method. We’re not ready for a kid yet so we’re being extra careful. It just freaks us out even though it is really effective we went to school with someone who got pregnant with an iud and we don’t want that to happen to us when we aren’t ready
