What age did you introduce spoon/fork

I have a 13 month old who is a excellent eater anyways I’m thinking I need to start letting him have spoon/fork to play around with and learn my question is when did you start this with your kid and how long did it take before they could use them well?

Our daughter is 15 months and we're slowly introducing spoons. She more so plays with it for a second, tries to put food on it and then gives up and uses her hands lol most kids can't use silverware very well until they're closer to 2 years old or so.

I introduced a baby spoon before he started eating, from 5 months we’d sit out baby in his high chair and he’d play with the spoon whilst we’re eating. He’s 10 months now and it just getting the hang of a spoon and can nearly use a fork

I started around 13 months with my son. He got really good at using a spoon by 18 months.

Started at 12 months. It’s a year later and he’s pretty good with both of them now but he gives up about halfway through a meal and uses his hands. I think the fork and spoon still take him extra time and concentration and he doesn’t have the patience for it.

5 months just playing with a spoon. At 7 he's sometimes motivated to use it to eat, but sometimes hands are faster

We started spoon feeding our daughter at almost 5 Months Old. She’s done really well with it too. She’s 6 Months Old now and eating baby food like a pro. Hates some fruits, but loves sweet potatoes and Mac n cheese 😂

Started around 9months. Obviously more of a play get used to it.  Hes 2 now and is real good... unless its soup or rice 🤣🤣
