My friends are in a long distance book club and scheduled video chat meetings are not working for us. Too hard to schedule with everyone's schedule, technology issues take up half the time, etc. So I'm looking for suggestions on a text based group, that way we don't all have to be 'there' at the same time. Facebook messenger would be great but one member doesn't have Facebook so it's not ideal. I'm thinking email or text message as other options but I'm not over the moon for either. Any other ideas? Or other tips?
