Pap smear on period?

Pap smear on period?" /> 
Is it alright to get tested whilst on your period? It’s my third day tomorrow so it’s not too heavy and I have an appointment but I feel it would be seen as a bit gross or they might not want to do it? Has anyone done it before???

The only time my dr will do the pap is if my bleeding is light. She won’t do it while I’m heavy.

My drs office r/s if you are on your period. Call them and ask ☺️ each office is different

Call and ask. My gynecologist won’t do it if it’s a heavy period but I’ve heard other women say they’ve gone on theirs. I guess it depends

It depends on the doctors office & their policy. Some prefer that u reschedule, and some don’t mind as long as ur flow isn’t heavy. So, u need to call them & ask.
