Lupron injection ??

Hello ladies! 
I am recently diagnosed with endometriosis. I had surgery about 2 weeks ago & had it removed. I’ve taken birth control for MANY years and tried MANY different brands. I am just generally not a fan. It didn’t help with my pain, made me breakout, and just didn’t feel like myself.
My doctor wrote me a prescription for a new medication but my insurance won’t cover it and it’s wayyyy to expensive for me. 
the insurance co is suggesting to do the Lupron injection. 3.75 mg every month for 6 months... looking for any input from anyone who has done this. My research indicates that basically it will cause me to be pre-menopausal 😩

I have not done it because I did my research.
Lupron is a chemp drug used for men with prostate cancer.
It will put you in menopause and cause fertility issues if you decide to have children.
My advice,dont do it.
I've had endo for 17 years,have had 3 surgeries and have 1 child. 
Most of my adult life I didnt use birth control,I went back on it 6 months ago and stopped taking it a few days ago due to it now making me have a 2 week period.

I’m on my second shot. My pain has went away in the weeks before my period but periods are worse then they have been in years. I have horrid hot flashes and the first two weeks after getting the shot my hormones are up and down and all around. But I think overall I do feel better because of the Depo Lurpon.

I did the lupron injection. It made all my pain go away but of course I got hot flashes which really suck. Still trying to get pregnant and I know my endometriosis is back because I have pain again. So the only thing lupron did was prolong the endometriosis from growing back so fast and took away my pain.
