Continuous monitoring

So since I’m attempting a VBAC I have to have continuous monitoring which I feel just won’t work for me. I’m trying to go 100% drug free so being tied to the bed and not being able to move much is going to be hard. I also know that your risk of uterine rupture which is what they are really worried about decreases significantly after you’re past 5cm so my question is if after I’m past 5cm and I just basically refuse to wear the monitor is there any thing they can do about it? I’m sure they can’t strap me to the bed and force it on me just wondering if anyone else has done this before.

Update: they were supper cool about the monitors and let me do intermittent monitoring! I got to walk the halls and labor in the shower it was amazing! I had a successful VBAC on November 21st.
