Should I test?

So I was supposed to get my period yesterday and nothing yet. But on August 31st I had a lot of sticky mucus and so I’m wondering if I ovulated late and now I should wait another week or so to take a test. This is my second month TTC and I feel like my body is all over the place. Also been having bad cramps and diarrhea the last 2 days. Any suggestions or thoughts???
