Circumcised ?

Okay so I am confused about the circumcising dicks thing. How does it work? Do the moms choose right after birth? Is it a Religious thing ?
Cause I’ve seen a couple of dicks but none have mentioned getting circumcised yet don’t have that extra skin over them.. someone explain please.

it started as a religious thing to get men and boys to stop being "promiscuous" and masterbating. it removes the protective skin and thousands of nerve endings off the penis. parents still do it now because its "common" or "cleaner" which is far from the truth. the rest of the world doesnt circ its mainly america and some small religious countries. it's like if they pulled the skin off the top of your clit and left the nub sticking out. the penis forms a callous and is no longer red and full of nerves like so

It was a religious thing, pretty sure it was Judaism, and they removed the excess skin so their genitals were cleaner. Like, my boyfriend told about--for a lack of a better word--"dick cheese." Dirt and sweat that gets trapped under the foreskin. When the foreskin is removed this is less likely to occur.

It’s mostly done after birth for religious reasons etc, but some baby boys have problems with their foreskin and the parent may be given the option to get their child circumcised or not. 
Some adults choose to get it done later in life for their own personal reasons, many male and female pornstars have decided to get themselves circumcised as a choice.
