Would you bring a 2.5 month old to a wedding?

Friends of ours are getting married at the end of October and I just had my daughter 3 weeks ago. We have to rsvp next week for their wedding but idk if bringing a 2.5 month old to a wedding is crazy. FTM here. What are your thoughts?
(I will first ask them if they mind babies there first before assuming but idk if I should even consider it before asking)

We take our daughter everywhere and always have! We just use a baby carrier which prevents strangers from getting in her face. Your life doesn’t have to completely change just because you have a baby.

I was in a wedding about 3 weeks after my son was born and my husband and I brought him with.  I wasn't comfortable with a sitter at only 3 weeks and he had health issues. He did great for the ceremony and reception

We have a family wedding in 2 weeks and the babe will be 6 weeks. We’re only going to the reception, but she will be with us.

I’m having this issue as well, my close friends are getting married Oct 13th and I’m not sure yet what to do with baby, I exclusively breastfeed and hate pumping!

I took my baby to a wedding when she was 2 weeks old. I wore her in a sling and she slept the whole time. I wasn’t going to go but the bride insisted it was ok to bring her since I wasn’t pumping yet and didn’t feel ready to leave her. At 2.5 months I would rather get a sitter and have some fun!

I’m going to be a bridesmaid in a wedding when my babe is 5 weeks... I am bringing her mainly for breastfeeding reasons. But I will also have my husband, my parents, and my aunt/uncle will all be there and who will all gladly help watch/hold her.

I habe a 3 week old too! I also have an 8,6 & 2 year old. My best friend my whole life asked for only adults to come to her wedding early October. Idk how I'm gonna do it but I will find a sitter. She also just 2 days ago asked me to be her maid of honor bc her sister is to unreliable.

Maybe to just the reception. Personally I would want a baby sitter. Take it as an opportunity to have time away!
