I’m currently on maternity leave and as of 9/19 I will be leaving my company to focus on being a mom. I have been with this company for 3 years since I was 18. My first and only real job. I have already notified HR but they advised me to notify my TL, I would prefer to send an email vs calling so I have it in writing. I have never done something like this and need help on the wording. It’s an entry level position so it doesn’t need to be crazy fancy! Should I attach a picture of my newborn for her to share with my fellow team members? Or should I keep it simple?
