so i’ve been dating this boy for a while now and i’m completely in love with him. he treats me so well and i’ve never had anything i have with him before.... but here’s the thing... i’m 16 and he’s 18... my dad is one of the strictest dads i know and almost 2 years ago i sorta rebelled and went off the rails and such which caused my dad to loose trust in me. but last year i changed myself for the better and am currently getting good grades in school and planning on playing sports again but my dad still has no trust in me after everything i did and i’ve been trying my hardest to earn it back because i know trust is earned not given. but i told him about this boy and he completely shut it down before i could finish my sentence. he won’t let me go to football games or spend the night at peoples houses, etc. i don’t know what to do because i know it takes time but it’s absolutely miserable and i know it’s all my fault.
