Homeless kitten

Theres been this little kitten outside the past couple days I've been at my moms. It's been chilling under her car and other peoples cars (she lives in an apartment). I dont know what to do. My mom wont keep her and where I live I wouldnt be able to take it either. (I have a rottweiler and live with my father in law, hed definitely not let us keep it). Anyways I've been feeding her tuna and some milk cause that's all my mom has that a cat could eat. I just dont want to take her to a shelter where she could possibly be put down. I also live in ohio. Any one have any ideas on what I could do?? I've been sitting outside the past hour and it's now 1:47 a.m. because I feel so bad for it
