Migraines??

I hardly ever get migraines but yesterday and today have been awful! I know pregnancy causes all kinds of stuff but anyone else struggling with migraines? I’ve been taking Tylenol but it doesn’t do much

I’ve suffered from migraines for years even before I got pregnant. If you can as soon as you feel the slightest hint that your getting one take 2 Tylenol and chug a can of coke classic (honestly chug it) if you do this soon enough the Tylenol and the caffeine + sugar from the coke react in a way that helps stop it from developing. Once you start getting the aura though it’s too late for this to work but sipping coke will still help ease some of the symptoms. 
Sometimes for me if I feel it coming a hot shower will help relax the muscles. I make a point to let the water run over my face, neck and back of head. This only helps in the very beginning. My mom gets them too and she says heat doesn’t help her but lots of ice packs do. 
Other than that just get to a dark quiet room and try your best to sleep it off. Quite often I’ll end up sleeping most of the day but at least when I wake up while its not always completely gone, at least I can function.

I take Benadryl when I have a migraine cause Tylenol has never worked for me.

If it’s a full blown migraine definitely take Tylenol the minute you start to feel it coming on. Once your to the point it has gone into auras, I never get any relief unless I’m taking my prescription meds and now I can’t do that. Do what you can to help ease the symptoms, call out of work. Close your blinds and drapes so the room is dark, turn off all the electronics, turn up the ac so it’s chilly in the house, and “rest” your brain.

Yes. Specifically aura/ocular migraine which are TERRIBLE. I’ve had 5 in the past 3 weeks. I don’t like taking anything if I can survive, I noticed sipping on a coke helps my symptoms
